The Admission Committe for Professional Courses (ACPC) will conduct Gujarat PGCET in offline mode in the third week of July tentatively. Gujarat PGCET 2018 will allow admission to candidates in 13 M.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes of the exam. As prescribed by ACPC, the eligibility criteria of Gujarat PGCET 2018 for candidates is provided below :
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 qualifying exam or any other equivalent in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST / SEBC categories).
Candidates need to have qualified GATE exam in the relevant discipline, they are applying for admission.
The result of Gujarat PGCET 2018 will be announced in the form of merit list in the fourth week of July tentatively. ACPC will release separate merit list for candidates applying through GATE and for candidates who qualified in the entrance exam. The admission to M.Tech programmes will be done on the basis of released Gujarat PGCET result or merit list.

Procedure to Fill Gujarat PGCET Application Form 2018
Candidates need to follow the steps given below while filling the application form of Gujarat PGCET 2018 :
Step 1 – Purchase of pin : Candidates will have to purchase a PIN from the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank for the purpose of registration. Upon paying the required amount, candidates will receive a User Id and PIN of 14 digits, which will be used further.
Step 2 – Registration : Candidates will have to login using their received User ID and PIN and provide their personal, academic, qualifying exam and contact details. Candidates will also have to upload their photograph in the prescribed format.
Step 3 – Verification of Information and Submission of form : After providing all the details, candidates will have to submit the form. Upon successful submission of the form, a unique registration number for a particular discipline will be generated and candidates will be required to remember it. Candidates will have to confirm the registration number and take a print out of the filled application form for future references.
Step 4 – Role of Designated Help Desk : Candidates will have to get their acknowledgement slip from the designated help centres and carry their original documents for verification at the help centre.

Note – Outside candidates means those candidates who have cleared their 10+2 and Science) / Diploma Engineering and B.E./ B.Tech./ from schools/ institute/ universities situated outside Gujarat state.
The application fee of Gujarat PGCET 2018 has to be submitted along at the time of PIN purchasing. Candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 in cash at the designated bank branches. The amount will be non-refundable. In case, candidates are applying for more than one course, then they will have to pay separately for each one of them.
The syllabus of Gujarat PGCET 2018 will be prescribed by ACPC for all the candidates who will appear in the exam. The questions in the entrance exam will be asked from Gujarat PGCET 2018 syllabus. Candidates must know the complete Gujarat PGCET syllabus 2018 before they appear in the entrance exam.
Candidates will get the admit card of Gujarat PGCET 2018 upon submission of the application form. The counselling of Gujarat PGCET 2018 will be conducted in the month of August tentatively. Gujarat PGCET 2018 counselling will follow these steps – mock round, first round, seat allotment result, second round, seat allotment result and reporting to the institute allotted. The mock round of counselling will be conducted to help candidates know which college they would get by filling which course of engineering.
